Dodge V. Alexander won four varsity letters as a football letterman from 1924-27 and captained the 1927 team that was champion of the Northwestern Ohio League. Dodge Alexander was on the track team from 1925-27 and was a captain of the 1927 team. He helped organize the first boxing team in 1925, participating in 1925-26, and was a captain of the 1926 team. After graduation Dodge became Lucas County Deputy Treasurer in 1934 and held the post until 1945 when he resigned to form his own accounting firm. Dodge also was a member of the Adams Twp. Board of Education and served as president for two years. Alexander also chaired the levy drive to build Rogers High School. Alexander retired in 1969. He is also a member of the Waite School Athletic Hall of Fame.
