DeSeana Williams is the only Rocket volleyball player ever to be selected first-team All-MAC. A three-time All-MAC selection, Williams was voted MAC Freshman of the Year in 1990, and is the only Rocket ever to receive this honor, as well. A first-team All-MAC pick in 1992, Williams also earned second-team All-MAC honors in 1991 and 1993. She is one of only four Rockets ever to earn a spot on the MAC All-Tournament Team. Williams is ranked second in school history in three categories: kills per game for a season (4.19 in 1992), career kills per game (3.78) and career digs per game (3.63). She ranks third in career kills (1,491) and career digs (1,431); fifth for most kills in a season (411 in 1992); and sixth in digs per game in a season (3.74 in 1992).
