Clarence "Eddie" Russell was a six-time MAC champion in the long jump and triple jump, setting league records in indoor long jump and indoor triple jump. He earned All-America honors in the long jump in 1997, and was the UT record holder in the long jump and triple jump. He won MAC titles in the long jump in 1996 and 1997 in both the indoor and outdoor events, and the indoor triple jump in 1997. He was a member of Team USA for the 1993 Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile.
