Chester Taylor is Toledo's all-time leading rusher with 4,849 yards and 61 touchdowns. He was named first-team All-MAC three times and was runner-up for the league's MVP award twice. He rushed for 1,176 yards as a sophomore, 1,470 yards as a junior and 1,620 yards as a senior. He capped off his career by rushing for a record 190 yards in a 23-16 win over Cincinnati in the 2001 Motor City Bowl. He was named the game's MVP. The Rockets won one MAC Championship, two MAC West Division titles and went 33-13 in his four seasons as the starting running back. He was drafted in the sixth round of the NFL Draft by Baltimore in 2002. He is in his fifth season in the NFL and is among the leaders in rushing with the Minnesota Vikings this season.
