Bart Quinn lettered in basketball in 1940-42 as a starting guard/forward. A starter all three years, he scored 702 points and was the leading rebounder, and an excellent defensive player. Bart Quinn was first-team All-Ohio in 1942. Bart made Ned Irish's All-Madison Square Garden team in 1942, he made the All-NIT team in 1942 and played on the Garden All-Star team against a service team. He starred on teams that were 68-14. He was an alternate for the College All-Star game in Chicago against the world champion Oshkosh team. Bart came to UT after playing several years of professional basketball with Ft. Wayne Pistons.
