Andy Fisher was a three-time Academic All-MAC selection, and earned first-team All-MAC honors as a senior in 1988-89. He also was awarded captain during his senior campaign. That season he led UT in points per game (12.9), free throw percentage (.837), rebounds per game (6.2), blocked shots (34), steals (58) and field goal percentage (.550). As a junior, Fisher averaged 9.9 points and 5.9 rebounds, and as a sophomore he averaged 13.5 points and 6.0 rebounds. A four-year starter, Fisher ranks 25th in career scoring at UT with 1,273 points and also has 645 career rebounds. He is tied for fourth in career games played (115) and is tied for fourth with most blocked shots in a season (34 in 1988-89).
