Rockets Fall 5-2 on the Road at Buffalo

Junior Reid Teatsorth went 6-4, 6-2 in No. 6 singles to give UT a point during Saturday's 5-2 loss to Buffalo.

Buffalo, N.Y. - The Toledo men's tennis team fell 5-2 to Buffalo today in the Rockets' first road match of the weekend.

"This match came down to a handful of points," head coach Al Wermer said. "Our guys were inspired and energetic, but Buffalo was just a bit too strong in a few spots."

Toledo dropped the doubles point but picked up two points during singles competition. Junior Luka Vitosevic earned UT's first point after going 6-3, 6-3 in the No. 2 spot. Junior Reid Teatsorth earned the Rockets' second point after going 6-4, 6-2 in the No. 6 position.

The Rockets return to action tomorrow when they travel to No. 3 Ohio State for a 4:30 p.m. matchup.
