Toledo, Ohio - The Toledo women's tennis team (11-5, 1-2 MAC) is set for a full weekend of action, with matches against Bowling Green (11-6, 3-1 MAC) and Ball State (7-8, 0-3 MAC) upcoming for the Rockets. UT hosts the Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Friday at Shadow Valley (Maumee), before heading to Muncie, Ind. to play Ball State at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
Â
"Both BGSU and Ball State are very good teams and we expect them to play their best," head coach Tracy Mauntler said. "We're focused on controlling what happens on our side of the net, both physically and emotionally. If we can do that, the outcomes will take care of themselves."
Â
The Rockets are coming off a 6-1 victory over Northern Illinois on Easter Sunday that was highlighted by sweeps in both the doubles and singles competitions. UT jumped on the Huskies early, taking the doubles point thanks to senior Sidnay Huck/junior Kokoro Chishaki's 6-2 win in the No. 1 spot and senior Megan Miller/junior Thalita Rodrigues' 6-0 win in the No. 3 spot.
Â
In singles competition, three Rockets finished their opponents in two sets. Sophomore Dee Dee Leenabanchong went 7-5, 6-1 in the No. 1 spot, followed by senior Colleen O'Brien going 6-1, 6-1 in the No. 3 spot. Rodrigues rounded out the trio of sweeps with a 6-1, 6-4 victory in the No. 6 position.

SCOUTING BOWLING GREEN
The Falcons are 4-1 in their last five matches and are coming off a win, 6-1, over Akron last Friday, and a loss, 7-0, to Buffalo the following Sunday. BG took the doubles point against Akron thanks to the respective No.1 and 2 pairings of Paula Comella/Marharita-Sophia Tavpash and Polina Radeva/Ayumi Sasaki. The Falcons were lights out during singles competition, sweeping each match in two sets.
Â
Sunday's match saw Comella and Tavpash earn another doubles victory before the team was shutout by the Bulls. Radeva and Sasaki each forced their singles matches to three sets but were unable to earn points for their side.

SCOUTING BALL STATE
The Cardinals are on a four-match losing streak and coming off a loss, 4-3, to Eastern Michigan on Friday. Ball State took the doubles point thanks to the No. 2 pairing of Audrey Berger/Rebecca Herrington and the No. 3 pairing of Payton Gollhofer/Victoria Secc.
