All three games will be played at Scott Park and be streamed on ESPN3.
Toledo (26-14, 10-2 MAC)
The Rockets currently sit in first place in the MAC west with a 10-2 record in league play. Toledo has won all four of its conference series over the like of Akron, Kent State, Bowling Green and Eastern Michigan. UT has won seven of its last eight games and 16 of 19 dating back to mid-March.
Freshman
Bailey Curry is on the cusp of history in term of power numbers at Toledo. Curry is one home run away from tying Rhonda King's 1990 record of 13 home runs in a single season. Curry is currently tied with recent UT graduate Chandler Rice for second on the all-time list.
Senior
Ashley Rausch has been hot at the plate of late. The center fielder is hitting an even .500 (14-for-28) over the last 10 games with three doubles and seven runs scored. Rausch has reached base safely in 17-straight games.
Northern Illinois (14-24, 5-6 MAC)
The Huskies hold down the fifth spot in the MAC west division with a 5-6 conference mark. NIU has been streaky in conference early this season. After a 2-1 series loss to Miami, the Huskies swept Buffalo on their way to four-straight conference wins. Since then, NIU has lost four in a row including a doubleheader sweep at the hands of Ball State.
Northern Illinois is led by Jenny Van Geertry and Alaynie Woollard. Van Geertry leads the team in average (.427), hits (47) and runs scored (31), while Woollard tops the squad in home runs (5), RBIs (31), walks (22) and triples (7).
