Rockets Fall 4-3 to Radford

Lake Nona, Fla. - The University of Toledo men's tennis team lost 4-3 to Radford today in Lake Nona, Fla. to close out its trip to the Sunshine State.
"Overall, we're having trouble finding a break, but this group wants to win," head coach Al Wermer said following the match. "Our record doesn't look good, but they don't mind. They have a 'bring it on' mentality."
Toledo's points came from strong play during singles competition. Sophomore Thawin Suksathaporn forced his No. 3 singles match to go the distance, rallying from a 5-7 loss in the first set to win 6-0, 6-2. Junior Serjen Olmedo swept the No. 5 spot, defeating his opponent 6-3, 6-2. In the No. 6 singles spot was freshman Nikola Arsic who went 6-3, 7-6 (7-0) to give UT its final point of the day.
The Rockets return to action Friday, March 16 when they host Western Michigan at 2:00 p.m.
