CLEVELAND, Ohio - Fifth-year senior LHP Ross Achter has been named second-team All-Mid-American Conference, the league office announced on Tuesday. The All-MAC Teams are the results of voting by the conference's head coaches.

Achter collected second-team all-league recognition for the second-straight season.

The Oregon, Ohio native currently leads the Rockets in strikeouts (60), ERA (3.21) and is tied for the team lead in wins (3). Achter allowed 33 runs, 20 of which were earned, in 56.0 innings of work this spring.

Achter joins LHP Ryan Wilkinson and RHP Matt Kuna as two-time all-conference pitchers during head coach Cory Mee's tenure at Toledo.

The Rockets return to the field on Wednesday, May 24 to play top-seed Kent State in the first round of the MAC Tournament. First pitch is scheduled for approximately 4:30 p.m. at Sprenger Stadium in Avon, Ohio.
