Â
Toledo is tied with Ball State for the school with the most athletes represented. It is also the most honorees UT men's tennis has had in a single season, and the first time a Rocket has earned this award in three years.
Â
"These guys should feel really great about this achievement!" said Head Coach
Al Wermer. "They've all done an outstanding job balancing their work, minimizing distractions and keeping their priorities straight."
Â
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
