CLEVELAND, Ohio – Toledo women's tennis had four student-athletes earn a spot on the 2017 Academic All-Mid-American Conference squad, the league office announced on Wednesday. Junior Sidnay Huck, junior Colleen O'Brien, sophomore Claire Aleck and sophomore Rani Goodland were selected due to their outstanding efforts in the classroom, as well as the courts, in 2016-17.
 
This is the second-straight season Huck and O'Brien have been honored with this award, and the first time for Aleck and Goodland.
 
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
