Cleveland, OH – The Toledo softball team has been predicted to finish third in the West Division, the Mid-American Conference announced on Monday. The Rockets received two first-place votes by the head coaches of the 12 MAC institutions.
 
Last season, UT was predicted to finish fifth in the West and received zero first-place votes by the coaches.

In the East, Kent State is predicted to finish first in 2017 receiving five of the 12 possible first-place votes.  Northern Illinois is selected to finish atop the West receiving eight-first place votes. Ohio is the predicted favorite to claim the MAC Tournament Championship title receiving four votes.
