Rockets to Play NPF's USSSA Pride on Sept. 30

TOLEDO, OH – The Toledo softball team will match up against National Pro Fastpitch (NPF) team the USSSA Pride on Friday, Sept. 30 in Ann Arbor, MI. The two teams will take the field at 6:00 p.m. at the University of Michigan's Wilpon Complex/Alumni Field.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for our team to be able to compete against the Pride," said head coach Kristen Butler. "I think our team will be able to learn a lot from playing against professionals. This is the first time Toledo has matched up against an NPF team and it's really exciting for our program."

Fans are invited to attend a fall camp with the Rockets and the Pride two days before the game on Wednesday, Sept. 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Scott Park Softball Field.
