Toledo, OH – Fifteen members of the Toledo baseball team are continuing their seasons in NCAA-sanctioned wood bat leagues across the country. The Rockets have players participating in various collegiate leagues in the states of Ohio, Michigan, Massachusetts, Virginia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania including players in the Cape Cod League, Northwoods League, Prospect League, Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, Valley League and Tri-State League.
 
Senior LHP Ross Achter (Cotuit Kettleers) is the lone representative of the Rockets in the prestigious Cape Cod League.  
 
Junior OF AJ Montoya (Madison Mallards) will head north to Wisconsin to play in the Northwoods League.
 
Three players will represent the Midnight Blue & Gold in the Prospect League. Junior 1B Dalton Bollinger (Chillicothe Paints) and junior INF Brad Boss (Chillicothe Paints) are teammates, while junior LHP Alex Wagner (Butler Blue Sox) is the lone competitor in Pennsylvania.
 
Seven Rockets will play in the Great Lake Summer Collegiate League for three different teams. Sophomore OF Ross Adolph (Lima Locos), sophomore RHP Parker Ruffer (Lima Locos), senior OF Jacob Britt (Michigan Monarchs), senior INF/RHP Jordan Kesson (Michigan Monarchs), sophomore INF Riley Campbell (Galion Graders), sophomore RHP Luke Schaefer (Galion Graders) and sophomore RHP Jake Stout (Galion Graders) will all play in the area league.
 
Sophomore LHP Michael Jacob (Staunton Braves) traveled south to play in the Valley League.
 
Four Rockets – senior INF/RHP Josh Cales (Toledo Hawks), sophomore RHP Chris Hampton (Toledo Hawks), senior OF Jake Krupar (Toledo Hawks) and junior RHP Nolan Silberhorn (Toledo Hawks) – stayed in the Glass City to play in the Tri-State League
