Dayton, OH – The Toledo baseball team will head to Dayton to take on Wright State for a three-game series beginning on Friday, April 15 at 6:00 p.m. The Rockets will also take on the Raiders on Saturday, April 16 at 2:00 p.m. and will return home to Scott Park to wrap up the series on Sunday, April 17 at 2:05 p.m.

Sam Shutes (0-3, 5.46 ERA) will pitch at Scott Park on Sunday.

Achter is coming off a victory over Kent State last weekend. The Oregon, OH native tied a career-high in innings pitched at seven and a season-low hits allowed with two. Achter fanned six batters during the win.

Deion Tansel is hitting a team-best .415 (17-for-41) with three RBI, two doubles and nine runs scored over the last 10 contests. Sophomore 1B
Dalton Bollinger is hitting .343 (12-for-35) with five doubles and a team-high nine RBI over the same span.

Wright State won the Joe Nuxhall Classic Championship last Wednesday. The Raiders defeated Miami, 4-0, and Cincinnati, 6-1, during the midweek. WSU also spilt a Horizon League series with Milwaukee last weekend.

Mee is 3-8 all-time against the WSU. The Rockets last victory over the Raiders came on April 1, 2014 in a 10-1 win at Scott Park.
