Riverside, CA – The Toledo women's tennis team defeated UC Riverside, 4-3, in its first of three spring break matches. The Rockets improve to 5-5 on the season.
 
"I am extremely proud of our team's effort in this match," said head coach Tracy Mauntler. "Especially because this was the first match this year that we've played outdoors!"
 
Toledo clinched the doubles point by winning two of the three matches.

Sidnay Huck, Colleen O'Brien and Megan Miller each claimed a two-set singles victory. Huck and O'Brien won, 6-3, 6-3, at No. 2 and 3, respectively. Miller defeated her opponent, 6-2, 6-3, at No. 4.
 
The Rockets head to the Desert Princess Country Club where they will face Gonzaga on March 9 at 1:00 p.m. and Liberty on March 10 at 4:00 p.m.
