TOLEDO, OH - The Toledo men's tennis team prepares for its second full weekend of matches in the Glass City. UT welcomes Detroit (4-3) on Feb. 12 for a 5:00 p.m. match before hosting a doubleheader on Feb. 12 against Aquinas (3-1) and Wayne State (0-1). Toledo will face the Saints at 1:00 p.m. and the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. All matches will be played at the Shadow Valley Tennis Club in Maumee, OH.
"We're going to put an emphasis on our doubles play this weekend," head coach Al Wermer said. "We're seeing a lot of skill-improvement, but we're still trying to find best doubles combinations. I also expect to try a few different singles lineups."
The Rockets are coming off of a 2-1 run at home, where they defeated Youngstown State and IUPUI but fell to Green Bay.
Stjepan Sisko finished with a perfect 3-0 record at No. 1 singles over the weekend. Stephen Miller, Vince Anzalone and Serjen Olmedo all went 2-1 in singles competition.
