Bailey Curry

Bailey Curry – Frankfort, KY (Anderson) / Catcher
Curry is a catcher and four-year letterwinner at Anderson High School, who was a member of the 2016 Kentucky-West Junior All-Star Team. She was named the 8th Region Player of the Year each of the last three years. Curry was a 3A first-team all-state selection as a sophomore and junior and a 3A second-team all-state selection as a freshman. Curry ranks first in school history with 62 career home runs and five career grand slams. She holds a .475 career batting average, including an impressive .536 mark as a sophomore. Curry has tallied 297 hits, 252 RBI and 69 doubles so far in her high school career. She plans on majoring in exercise science at UT.

Brittney Davis

Brittney Davis – Champlin, MN (Champlin Park) / 3B
Davis is a third-baseman at Champlin Park High School, who earned All-Minnesota Honorable Mention accolades as a junior. She was also a first-team all-conference and second-team all-metro selection her junior year. She played for the Lady Lightning Gold Midwest National Team and was teammates with fellow signee Raelyn Nyren and current Toledo freshman Morgan Paaverud. Davis and the Lady Lightening Gold placed 17th in the 2016 PGF National Championships.

Ebony Garza

Ebony Garza – Patterson, CA (Patterson) / Infield
Garza is an infielder from Patterson, CA, where she was named her team's Defensive Player of the Year and earned second-team all-league honors after her sophomore season. Garza hit .408 with 17 runs, 13 RBI and six stolen bases as a sophomore. She also tallied 20 hits two years ago, which helped her register a .530 SLG% and .492 OB%. Her travel team, the Sorcerers, placed third at the PGF National Championships U14 in 2013, while her U14 and U16 teams came in fifth place in 2014 and 2016, respectively. Garza plans on majoring in psychology at Toledo.

Ami Ill
|
Ami Ill – Mokena, IL (Lincoln-Way East) / Outfield
Ill is a three-year letterwinner at Lincoln-Way East High School, who helped the Griffins to back-to-back state championship appearances in 2014 and 2015. As a sophomore, Ill notched two Illinois state records for most hits and runs scored in a state tournament game. She finished her junior year with a .347 batting average and a .434 on-base percentage. Ill plans on majoring in exercise science at UT.

Maggie McGurk
|
Maggie McGurk – Streator, IL (Streator) / Right-Handed Pitcher
McGurk is a right-handed pitcher and four-year letterwinner at Streator High School, who was named Team co-MVP her junior year. McGurk earned 3A third-team all-state, first-team all-area, and Times Player of the Year after hitting .389 and recording a 1.72 ERA as a junior. She finished her junior year with a 21-5 record on the mound and helped her team secure a regional championship with a 22-11 overall mark. McGurk earned the team's MVP and Slugger Award as a sophomore, while also being named to 3A third-team all-state, first-team all-area, and first-team all-conference. She registered an impressive .464 batting average and an 18-5 pitching record with a 1.33 ERA as a sophomore.
As a freshman, McGurk was named Rookie of the Year by her teammates and earned team's Slugger Award after finishing with a .362 batting average, 2.81 ERA and 9-6 record in the circle. She was also a first-team all-conference and first-team all-area selection after her rookie season. McGurk was a three-year letterwinner in volleyball and was named Best Teammate of the Year and honorable mention all-conference. She is currently undecided on a major.

Kylie Norwood

Kylie Norwood – Valencia, CA (Hart) / Infield
Norwood is a four-year letterwinner from Hart High School, where she earned CIF Second-Team All-Foothill League honors as a sophomore and junior. She posted a .373 hitting mark and .475 on-base percentage as a junior, while recording four home runs. Norwood was named Team MVP after recording a .373 batting average her sophomore year. She is planning on majoring in nursing at UT.

Raelyn Nyren

Raelyn Nyren – Ham Lake, MN (Centennial) / 2B/Utility
Nyren is a three-year letterwinner from Ham Lake, MN, who was named co-captain for the upcoming 2017 season by her teammates. She was a Northwest Suburban All-Conference selection and was named to the 4AAA All-Section Team after registering a .409 batting average as a junior. Nyren hit .353 with 24 runs, three homers and six RBI in her sophomore season. She played for the Lady Lightning Gold Midwest National Team and was teammates with fellow signee Brittney Davis and current Toledo freshman Morgan Paaverud. Nyren and the Lady Lightening Gold placed 17th in the 2016 PGF National Championships. Nyren plans on majoring in bioengineering at Toledo.

Taylor Weekly

Taylor Weekly – Seymour, TN (The Kings Academy) / Utility
Weekly is a four-year letterwinner from Seymour, TN, who is a three-time team captain and earned all-region honors as a junior. Weekly helped her team win the state championship her junior year and finished with a .385 batting average, 45 RBI, five home runs and 21 doubles. She was an all-state selection her sophomore year and earned all-district and all-region honors in her first two years. Weekly posted a .431 hitting mark as a sophomore with 46 RBI, five homeruns and 19 doubles. She registered a .574 batting average and .659 OB% during her rookie campaign. She was a member of the Fury Premiere travel team and helped them place 13th at the 2016 PGF National Championships. Weekly plans on majoring in bioengineering at UT.

Bekah Yenrick

Bekah Yenrick – Oregon, OH (Clay) / Utility
Yenrick is a four-year letterwinner from Clay High School, who was honored with the school's 2016 Golden Glove Award and was named team captain as a junior. She earned first team All-TRAC honors in 2014, 2015 and 2016 as well as TRAC all-academic accolades after her sophomore and junior seasons. Yenrick was a first-team Northwest District selection as a sophomore and junior and earned second-team all-district honors as a freshman. She currently holds Clay's record for most doubles (17) and highest fielding percentage (1.000) in a season. Yenrick finished her junior year leading the team in doubles, RBI, walks, batting average and fielding percentage.
