TOLEDO, OH – Toledo concluded this weekend's Rocket Invitational with an overall record of 12-11. Of the 11 teams that participated, UT faced Saint Francis, Michigan, Purdue, Youngstown State, Vaparaiso, and Wright State.

"Our weekend was a little bit up and down," said head coach Al Wermer. "We had a couple of health issues but I see some real improvement in certain areas of the game. I see progress tactically, physically and mentally."

On the opening day of the tournament, Toledo swept Saint Francis in three singles and a doubles match. The Rockets then split its competition with Purdue and Michigan, 3-3.

UT was defeated by Youngstown State, 4-2, and Valpo, 3-1, on Saturday but closed out the weekend with a 2-1 victory over Wright State on Sunday.

Sophomore Vince Anzalone was named to the all-tournament team for finishing the tournament with a record of 3-1
