West Lafayette, IN – Toledo men's tennis dropped a 7-0 battle against Big Ten's Purdue in West Lafayette, IN on Saturday evening. The Rockets fall to 0-1 on the season, while the Boilermakers improve to 2-0.

Al Wermer. "However, we can play better. We will play better. These guys expect more out of themselves and I know they will get there."

Luka Vitosevic defeated Purdue's Lucas Dages and Mateus Silva 5-3 in the No. 3 doubles spot.

Stjepan Sisko and sophomore Oman Espinosa battled Gergely Madarasz and Benjamin Ugarte in the No. 1 double slot but fell 6-3. Freshmen
Vince Anzalone and
Reid Teatsorth fell 6-1 to the Boilermaker's Ricky Medinilla and Dominik Sochurek.
