Nick Sharp is in his first season as a graduate assistant with the Rockets' football program. He will work primarily with the defense.
Sharp previously served at Ohio State as an offensive line intern (2015) and defensive analyst (2016-18), where he worked mostly with the defensive line. Sharp was a part of Buckeye teams that won Big Ten championships in 2017 and 2018, as well as participated in the 2016 College Football Playoffs.Â
Sharp played football at Kentucky Christian, where he was a defensive lineman from 2012-14. He was a two-time academic all-conference selection and was chosen to play in the 2014 All-American Bowl all-star game.
Sharp earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Kentucky Christian in 2015 and his master’s degree in sports management from Ohio State in 2016. Sharp was an all-conference player at Milford High School in Milford, Ohio. He and his wife Lauren were married in 2018.
