Toledo vs. Bowling Green – Nov. 10, 2021
  • Toledo won the Battle of I-75 trophy for the 10th time in its 11-year history. The Rockets now lead the all-time series with its rivals, 42-40-4, and have won the last two meetings, including five of the last six in BG’s Doyt Perry Stadium.
  • Toledo outgained Bowling Green, 539-196, including 352-64 in the first half. This marks the second straight game UT eclipsed 500 total yards of offense.
  • The Rockets held an opponent to less than 200 total yards of offense for the second time this season (UMass, 134 yards).
  • Toledo scored three touchdowns in a span of 2:19 near the end of the first half to take a 35-10 lead into the locker room at halftime.
  • Junior Bryant Koback rushed for 121 yards and now has 3,562 career rushing yards, moving him past Trinity Dawson (3,474 from 2002-05) for fifth-most in Toledo history. It was the 11th 100-yard game in Koback’s career.
  • Koback also rushed for two touchdowns, giving him 39 for his career, moving him past Wasean Tait (38 from 1993-98) for third on Toledo’s all-time list.
  • Senior cornerback Samuel Womack’s pass breakup in the second quarter was the 36th of his career, breaking the Toledo record previously held by Keon Jackson (35 from 2002-05). Womack broke up two passes on the night, giving him 37 in his five-year career.
  • Redshirt freshman quarterback Dequan Finn completed 18-of-24 passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns. Finn connected on his first six passes.
  • Junior Matt Landers caught his third touchdown pass in two games after previously having caught only two passes all year.
  • Junior AJ Crider led the Rockets with a career-high eight tackles.
  • Toledo’s 12 tackles for loss are its most in a game this season.
