- With the victory, Toledo moves to 4-2 in league play and earned a share of second place in the West Division with Western Michigan.
- Toledo now leads the all-time series with Central Michigan 27-19-3 and has won six straight games against CMU at home.
- Bryant Koback rushed for 123 yards and now has 2,626 career rushing yards, which ranks 9th  on Toledo’s career rushing list. He passed Steve Morgan (2,540 from 1981-84) and DaJuane Collins (2,588 from 2006-09) on Toledo’s all-time list.
- Koback’s 123 yards gave him the seventh 100-yard rushing performance of his career.
- Junior linebacker Dyontae Johnson led the team with a career-high 10 tackles, the fourth time he led the Rockets in tackles this season.
- Junior defensive tackle Desjuan Johnson had eight tackles and a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss.
- Thomas Cluckey made a 24-yard field goal in the first quarter to put him at 5-for-5 on the season.
- Saturday’s game marked the third time this season that Toledo shut out an opponent in the fourth quarter (Bowling Green and Northern Illinois).
- Senior safety Tycen Anderson recorded the first sack of his career in the third quarter.
- The Rocket defense forced nine CMU punts, the most in a game since Nov. 23, 2018 when they forced Central Michigan to punt 15 times.
