Post-Game Notes-Miami Game

  • The official attendance for Saturday’s game was 28,117, which makes it the 16th-biggest crowd in Glass Bowl history and the biggest since 2016 (30,147 vs. Bowling Green).
  • Toledo’s leading tacklers were Reggie Howard and Tuzar Skipper, who were both credited with eight stops. That total represents a career-best for both players.
  • Diontae Johnson caught six passes for 119 yards and two touchdowns, giving him his seventh 100-yard receiving game of his career and the fifth time he has caught multiple touchdowns in a game.
  • Jameson Vest converted one of his two field goal attempts, making a 47-yarder. He is now nine field goals made away from the UT record held by Rusty Hanna (68, 1989-92).
  • Cody Thompson caught two passes for 19 yards, extending his streak to 32 straight games with a reception. He also eclipsed Bernard Reedy (2,743 receiving yards, 2010-13) on Toledo’s all-time career receiving yards list. Thompson now has 2,752 career receiving yards, which is fifth all-time. He is 24 yards away from tying Lance Moore (2,776 yards, 2001-04) for fourth all-time.
  • Mitchell Guadagni threw for 222 yards an two touchdowns. He also led the Rockets with 47 rushing yards, including five rushes of at least 10 yards.
  • Saturday marked the ninth time Toledo has hosted a ranked team at the Glass Bowl. The last time it happened was in 2014 when UT defeated Missouri and the score was also 49-24.
  • Bailey Flint averaged over 40 yards per punt for the second straight; his six punts went for 250 yards, good for an average of 41.7 per punt.
