Toledo vs. Eastern Michigan
  • Toledo has now won 11 straight games against Eastern Michigan and 17 of the last 18 meetings. UT is now 61-27 in Homecoming games and 5-1 when it plays EMU on this day.
  • Senior quarterback Logan Woodside finished with 289 passing yards, becoming the third player in school history to eclipse 8,000 career passing yards.
  • Woodside moved into second place all-time in Toledo history in career passing yards, passing Terrance Owens (8,203 yards, 2010-13). He now has 8,267 passing yards in his career
  • Senior wide receiver Cody Thompson caught one pass for 32 yards, his 30th consecutive game with a reception. He left the game in the first quarter after suffering what is likely a season-ending leg injury according to Head Coach Jason Candle in the post-game press conference.
  • On back-to-back plays in the second quarter sophomore Rhett Blackman made his first career reception and freshman running back Nevone McCrimmon had his first career carry.
  • Sophomore wide receiver Diontae Johnson caught at least four passes for the fifth straight game. He finished the game with a career-high tying eight receptions and 97 yards.
  • Woodside completed a pass of at least 20 yards to four different receivers for this first time this season: Thompson (32 yards), Diontae Johnson (31 yards), Jon’Vea Johnson (23 yards), and Danzel McKinley-Lewis (22 yards).
  • Sophomore defensive back Kahlil Robinson had two interceptions in his first collegiate start, including one in the final minute to clinch the victory. It was Robinson’s first-career multi-interception game.
  • The last time a Rocket picked off two passes in a game was Cheatham Norrils at Bowling Green on Nov. 17, 2015.
  • Junior defensive lineman Reggie Howard recorded his first two tackles for loss of his career.
  • Redshirt freshman running back Shakif Seymour ran the ball a career-high 17 times, topping his previous career-high of 14 (Sept. 9).
  • Sophomore running back Art Thompkins tied his career high with 15 carries and scored his first touchdown of the season.
