Ray Wolford was the starting center on basketball teams of 1961-62, 62-63, and 63-64. He won first-team All Mid-American Conference honors in 1963 and 1964. He twice scored 38 points in a single game and concluded his career with 1,288 points, still 11th best mark in UT history. He ranks among the top 10 player in UT history in points scored per game, rebounds, rebounds per game, field goal made and free throws made.
