Merrill Solowin, Wrestling (1962-64)

Merrill Solowin won varsity letters in wrestling in 1962-64 as a heavyweight. He won the Mid-American Conference heavyweight championship twice and was runner up the other time. He competed in the NCAA tournament all three years. He was MAC heavyweight champion in 1962 and 1963 and in 1964 finished third in the NCAA championship tournament, thereby qualifying as a wrestling All-America.
