Mr. Fair lettered at UT three times as a starting wide receiver (1969-71). All three teams on which he played went undefeated and untied. Each was ranked among the nation's top 20 teams. He helped UT achieve 35 consecutive victories, the second largest winning streak since 1900 in college football. Mr., Fair was second-team All-MAC in 1969 and first team All-MAC in 1970 and 1971. He holds UT's record for career passes caught (171) and most career yards by pass reception (2191 yards). He also holds the record in a season (949). He stands third in career touchdown passes caught.
