Joe Grogan Room/Rocket Plaza

Access to the Joe Grogan Room and Rocket Plaza area is provided as a benefit to all Rocket Fund donors at the Gold ($500 gift) level and higher.  We hope you plan to join us in the Joe Grogan Room/Rocket Plaza area throughout the entire basketball season here at John F. Savage Arena.  Please take a second to review our policy regarding access and use of the room/plaza area.

  • The Rocket Plaza and Grogan Room will open 1½ hours prior to each home men's & women's basketball game, and remain open until one hour after each game.
  • Your season ticket(s) is/are your admission pass to the Joe Grogan Room.
  • Each ticket is good for one (1) person to enter the room/area. Example: if you have 4 season tickets, then four individuals may enter the room/area. Re-entry is permitted. Please have your hand stamped when you leave the Rocket Plaza/Grogan Room area.
  • Guest Policy:  All individuals entering the room/plaza must have the appropriate access ticket.  Guests may no longer be "Signed In" at the Grogan Room entrance.  If you would like to bring a guest to a game, please call the Athletic Development Office to order a premium ticket which will allow access to the room/plaza area for your guest.  You may leave a ticket (must have Grogan Room/Plaza access) for your guest(s) to pick up at the podium at the Rocket Plaza entrance off parking area 4 or the entrance to the Rocket Plaza on the 3rd floor of the Sullivan Athletic Complex.
  • Children (18 & under) are now permitted in the Rocket Plaza/Grogan Room area.  Must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Coat Check:  We ask all Grogan Room patrons to use our complimentary coat check service in the Rocket Plaza lobby.  Coats are not permitted in the Joe Grogan Room.
  • Table Reservation Policy:  Rocket Fund donors at the Executive ($1,000) level and higher may reserve a table along the glass in the front row.  Call the Athletic Development Office at: 419-530-5087, Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., no earlier than one week prior to the game date, and up until 2:00 p.m. on the day of the game.  Tables are reserved on a first-come-first-served basis.  Should space be filled, you will be given first priority for the next scheduled game.  Tables will be held until 20 minutes prior to tipoff.  Tables are designed to accommodate four (4) individuals.  Once you leave your table to go into the arena, the table becomes available for others.  Reservations cannot be made for halftime or after the game.
  • If you do not have season tickets, you still may use the Grogan Room (Gold level donors and higher) for Rocket basketball games.  Please call the Athletic Development Office to order your ticket(s) for the game(s) you would like to attend.  These tickets will allow you access to the room/plaza area.
