Post-Game Notes
- With today’s victory, the Rockets improve to 18-3 at home under fourth-year head coach Matt Campbell. UT is now sporting a seven-game winning streak at the friendly confines of the Glass Bowl.
 - Since 2010, Toledo is 15-1 against MAC East Division opponents. The Rockets’ last loss to a cross-division foe came against Akron, 31-29, on Nov. 29, 2013.
 - UT’s defense held KSU to 257 yards of total offense (123 passing, 134 rushing) and forced 10 punts. The Rockets did not allow the Golden Flashes to get into the red zone.
 - Toledo sustained its first lost fumble of the season on its opening drive. The Rockets had a botched snap on a punt attempt and KSU recovered the loose ball in the end zone for a touchdown.
 - UT posted a season-high 38 points and has now scored at least 30 points in all three home games this fall. Dating back to last season, the Rockets have tallied at least 30 points in six of the last seven contests.
 - Toledo piled up 518 yards of total offense (288 rushing, 230 passing) against the MAC’s top statistical unit. KSU entered today’s game giving up 252.0 yards per game.
 - Toledo improves to 5-0 on the year, 2-0 in the MAC, and is now sporting an eight-game winning streak, dating back to last season. It matches the longest unbeaten stretch under the direction of Coach Campbell. The Rockets also won eight-straight contests during the 2012 season. It also marks UT’s longest winning streak since the Midnight Blue & Gold won 12 straight contests over the course of the 2000 and 2001 years.
 - Sophomore RB Terry Swanson made his first start of the season and carried the ball 14 times for a season-high 161 yards, including a 23-yard TD run in the second quarter. Swanson topped the century mark for the second-straight game and fourth time in his collegiate career. He also ripped off a career-long 88-yard run in the second quarter, equalling the fourth-longest run in school history. Jim Gray also recorded an 88-yard run against Bowling Green on Oct. 19, 1963.
 - Senior WR Alonzo Russell caught a team-tying best four passes for 58 yards. Russell has now caught a pass in 43 straight games. With today’s effort, Russell moves into fifth place in school history with 2,685 career yards receiving.
 - Junior RB Kareem Hunt saw his first saw action in the last three games and carried the ball a game-high 16 times for 85 yards and two scores. Hunt was credited with a two-yard TD run in the third period and a one-yard scoring plunge in the fourth. He did see his string of 12-straight contests with at least 100 yards rushing come to an end.
 - Freshman PK Jameson Vest booted a 41-yard field goal in the second quarter and has converted a kick in each of the first five games this fall.
 - Senior DE Trent Voss was credited with six stops, including a season-tying best 3.0 tackles-for-loss. Voss has now recorded 3.0 stops behind the line of scrimmage in each of the last two contests. The East Grand Rapids, MI native was also credited with a game-high three quarterback hurries.
 - Senior DE Kennen Gibbs was credited with his second quarterback sack of the season on the final play of the first period. Gibbs finished with three tackles for the game.
 - Senior defensive back Rolan Millgan intercepted a pass in the third quarter. Milligan has now recorded a pick in two of the last three games. Milligan totaled two stops for the contest.
 - Sophomore WR Cody Thompson caught a team-tying best four passes for a squad-high 65 yards. Thompson also reeled in his first collegiate scoring catch, covering seven yards in the fourth quarter.
 - Junior FS DeJuan Rogers was credited with a team-high seven tackles.
 - Freshman SS Josh Teachey posted a team-high three pass breakups. Teachey had not recorded any statistics in two previous games played this fall.
 - Junior P Nick Ellis averaged a season-high 43.5 yards on four punts, including a season-long 55 yarder in the first quarter. Ellis also dropped three kicks inside the 20-yard line.
 - Sophomore WR Darryl Richards reeled in his first collegiate catch in the first quarter. Richards was also credited with a 14-yard reception in the third period.
 - Today’s attendance was announced as a season-high 23,118, signifying Toledo’s best mark since it had 24,196 against Missouri on Sept. 6, 2014.
