TOLEDO, OH - Senior quarterback Terrance Owens is Toledo's Athlete of the Week after leading the Rockets to a 28-25 victory over arch-rival Bowling Green. The win was UT's fourth straight triumph over the Falcons.
Owens completed 15-of-23 passes for 130 yards and three touchdowns, and came through in the clutch when the Rockets needed him most. He ran and threw for 65 of the 70 yards in Toledo's final drive, including an 11-yard TD pass to Alonzo Russell that proved to be the game-winner.
Toledo returns to action when it hosts Eastern Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 7:00 p.m. at the Glass Bowl.
