TOLEDO, Ohio – Phil Steele's preseason All-MAC team was announced this week with 19 Toledo players named to the four teams, the most of any school in the Mid-American Conference.

The Rockets had six players named to both of the first and second teams, three to the third team and four to the fourth team.

The Rockets open the season at SEC foe Kentucky on Saturday, Aug. 30 in a 12:45 p.m. kickoff on the SEC Network. Toledo then returns to the Glass City for its home opener, "The Biggest Party in Toledo," vs. Western Kentucky in a 7:00 p.m. clash on Saturday, Sept. 6 (ESPN+).
