2025 Toledo Football Schedule

TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo and the Mid-American Conference announced kickoff times and TV designations for six games for the Rockets' 2025 football season on Thursday.
 
The Rockets open the season at SEC foe Kentucky on Saturday, Aug. 30 in a 12:45 p.m. kickoff on the SEC Network. Toledo then returns to the Glass City for its home opener, "The Biggest Party in Toledo," vs. Western Kentucky in a 7:00 p.m. clash on Saturday, Sept. 6 (ESPN+).
 
Other game times were announced for a home contest vs Morgan State on Sept. 13 (3:30 p.m./ESPN+) and a key MAC clash at Miami on Nov. 12 (7:00 p.m./TV TBA). A home game vs. Northern Illinois on Nov. 5 will be played at 7:00 or 8:00 p.m., depending on TV assignment. Toledo's contest at Washington State on Oct. 25 was previously announced to kick at 3:30 p.m. ET (12:30 p.m. PT) on the CW Network.
 
Game times and TV assignments will be announced later for the remaining games.

The Rockets return four All-MAC players from last season's 8-5 squad, plus senior quarterback Tucker Gleason, who threw for 2,808 yards and 24 TDs last season. Gleason's top target was first-team All-MAC wide receiver Junior Vandeross, who led Toledo with 85 receptions last year. Vandeross was also named GameAbove Sports Bowl MVP following a 12-reception, 194-yard performance in the Rockets' 48-46 six-overtime win vs. Pitt.
