TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo softball team will host rival Bowling Green in the Battle of I-75 at Scott Park this weekend, April 25-26. All three games will be streamed on ESPN+.

Rocket Notes
  • Toledo owns a 7-12 MAC record and is very much alive for a spot in the MAC Tournament. The Rockets are currently tied for seventh place, trailing fifth-place Akron (10-7) and sixth-place Northern Illinois (11-9) for the sixth and final spot in the tourney.
  • The Falcons enter the weekend with a record of 15-30 (7-14 MAC) and are in ninth place in the MAC standings.
  • The Rockets split a doubleheader with Central Michigan last weekend and picked up a win over Buffalo thanks to a two-hit outing from Sophia Knight. Knight set a career-high with 10 strikeouts in Sunday's contest at Buffalo and ranks sixth in program history with 373 strikeouts.
  • Toledo ranks first in the league in double plays per game (0.43) and second in double plays (17) and sacrifice bunts (33).
  • Sidney Griffith is second in the conference in sac bunts per game (0.20) and toughest to strike out (22.0). Griffith has struck out only six times in 132 at-bats.
  • Freshman Audrey Miller is leading the offense in batting average (0.350), hits (43), home runs (nine), RBIs (37) and slugging percentage (0.642).
