Rockets Looks to Continue Momentum After First Win of Season
- Toledo's 1-0 victory over Detroit came courtesy of Grace Turski's first goal of the year in the 62nd minute. She was assisted by Olivia Dault and Tori Lyncha, the latter of which marked the first assist of her career.
- The defense allowed a season-low two shots on goal on Friday. Through four games, Toledo opponents have averaged 4.25 shots on goal per game and 1.25 goals per game, both down from 6.6 shots on goal allowed and 1.5 goals allowed per game in 2023.
- Toledo has also gone 125 consecutive minutes without a goal allowed, its longest such stretch of the season.
Close Battles Test Rockets Early
- All four of Toledo's first four contests have been decided by one goal or a draw.
- The Rockets are amidst their first stretch of four-straight tied or one-goal games to start a season since 2013, when they played six consecutive one-goal games to begin the campaign.
- Toledo is one of just three teams in the MAC to enter the week with all contests decided by one goal or fewer (Akron, Buffalo)
Of Note
- On Thursday, the Rockets will look to defeat an Atlantic 10 Conference opponent for the first time since 2021, when they knocked off Dayton 1-0 at home. Since then, the Rockets drew 2-2 at the Flyers in 2022 and were defeated by Loyola last year, 2-1.
- Sunday's game will be Toledo's third and final matchup against the Horizon League this season. The Rockets are 1-0-1 against the league this year and 2-1-2 all-time under Head Coach Mark Batman.
- All four of Toledo's goals this season have come in the final 30 minutes of game action. Toledo has either equalized or taken the lead on three of the four tallies.
