Jacquez Stuart Voted Ironman of the Game vs. UMass

TOLEDO, Ohio – Toledo senior running back/kick returner Jacquez Stuart was named the Iron Workers Local Union No. 55 Ironman of the Game for his performance against UMass in Week 2.

Stuart's performance was highlighted by a 98-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, which gave Toledo a 17-10 lead in the second quarter. The kick return TD was the third of Stuart's career and marked the longest kick return of his career.

The weekly award comes from a vote by Rocket fans on Twitter/X among top Toledo performers from each game. Also considered were safety Emmanuel McNeil-Warren who set a career high with 14 tackles, outside linebacker Jeremiah Peters who made three tackles for toss, and wide receiver Junior Vandeross III who caught three pass for 115 yards and a touchdown, including a 73-yard receiving score.

Coming off of a 38-23 victory against the Minutemen, Toledo (2-0) heads to play SEC foe Mississippi State on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPNU.
