Rockets begin MAC play on Jan. 1 against Northern Illinois
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo women's basketball team has announced its complete schedule for the 2024-25 season, following the Mid-American Conference releasing its league schedule on Wednesday.
Toledo begins its conference slate on Jan. 1 against Northern Illinois, and faces two Battle of I-75 bouts with Bowling Green – at Savage Arena on Jan. 25 and at the Stroh Center on Feb. 22.
"The MAC is one of the most competitive leagues in the country and we are excited for another opportunity to compete for a championship," said Head Coach Ginny Boggess. "Conference play will be here before we know it. In the meantime, we will continue to work hard to become the best team we can possibly be by conference play."
The Rockets will face NIU (Jan. 1), Kent State (Jan. 8), Ohio (Jan. 18), Bowling Green (Jan. 25), Miami (Jan. 29), Akron (Feb. 15), Ball State (Feb. 19), Buffalo (Feb. 26) and Central Michigan (March 1) in conference games at Savage Arena.
In MAC road games, Toledo will face Akron (Jan. 4), Central Michigan (Jan. 11), Western Michigan (Jan. 15), Ball State (Jan. 22), Eastern Michigan (Feb. 1), Buffalo (Feb. 5), Bowling Green (Feb. 22), Northern Illinois (March 5), and Kent State (March 8).
The Rockets will also face a road matchup against a Sun Belt Conference opponent for the second half of the MAC-SBC Challenge on Feb. 8.
The 2025 MAC Women's Basketball Championship will be held March 12-15 at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
