Rockets will begin tournament play on Sunday in 54-hole event
TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo men's golf team will head to South Carolina this weekend to compete in the Hootie at Bulls Bay Intercollegiate presented by the Hootie & the Blowfish Foundation. The tournament will be held on Sunday-Tuesday, March 24-26 at the par-72, 7,349-yard Bulls Bay Golf Club in Awendaw, S.C.

The Field
The Rockets are ranked a Mid-American Conference-best No. 86 in the NCAA Division I computer rankings and will be competing against a field that includes five schools ranked among the Top 40 nationally --Â Â No. 16 East Tennessee, No. 19 New Mexico, No. 33 Purdue, No. 35 Missouri, and No. 37 LSU. The tournament also includes No. 59 South Carolina, No. 71 College of Charleston, No. 72 Kentucky, No. 77 North Carolina State, No. 88 West Virginia, No. 92 Kent State No. 95 Furman, and No. 104 Marquette.
