TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior running back Peny Boone was voted "Ironman of the Game" following his performance in Saturday's 49-31 win vs. Western Michigan.

Boone rushed for a career-high 211 yards and two touchdowns, the second straight week he set a new career benchmark in rushing yards. He accumulated the bulk of his yardage in the fourth quarter, rushing for 132 yards in the final period. The Detroit native is the fourth FBS player this season to have a 200-yard rushing game and the first MAC player to reach that benchmark. His 211 rushing yards are the third-most in a game by an FBS player this year.
