TOLEDO, Ohio - Former Rocket offensive lineman Mitchell Berg has been named to the 2022 NFF Hampshire Honor Society.

The Hampshire Honor Society is comprised of college football players from all divisions who have maintained a 3.2 grade point average throughout their college careers. Other qualifications include being a starter or significant contributor in one's senior season and meeting mandated progress toward graduation.

Berg, from Maumee, Ohio, was a three-year starter who played in 44 games on the offensive line in his career as a Rocket. He battled back from a preseason injury in 2022 to play a key role in securing Toledo's MAC Championship and Roofclaim.com Boca Raton Bowl titles. He received his bachelor's degree in marketing and professional sales major in May of 2021. He currently holds a 3.481 GPA in graduate school and expects to receive his MBA this May.
