TOLEDO, Ohio – The Toledo Football team had 17 student-athletes placed on the Academic All-MAC squad, the league office announced today.

Anthony Torres, Dallas Gant, Tanner Wigand, Dalton Andrews, Judge Culpepper, Maxen Hook, Tyler Long, Carter Fouty, Nick Rosi, Adam Beale, Drew Covington, Garrett Schwiebert, Cooper Rusk, Tucker Gleason, Luke Pawlak, D'Andre Ragin, and Zachary Ford each earned the league's academic honor.

Six of the 17 that were named Academic All-MAC were also named Academic All-District earlier this week. Anthony Torres, Judge Culpepper, Maxen Hook, Tyler Long, Nick Rosi, and Garrett Schwiebert were six of Toledo's seven Academic All-District recipients.

The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
