Peny Boone Voted Ironman of the Central Michigan Game

Junior running back was also named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week
TOLEDO, Ohio – Junior running back Peny Boone was voted "Ironman of the Game" following his performance in Toledo's win at Central Michigan last Friday.
Boone rushed for 186 yards and two touchdowns in Toledo's 32-17 win over CMU. It was his second-highest output and eighth 100-yard game of the season. He is the first Rocket to break the 100-yard mark eight times in a season since Kareem Hunt did it in 2016. Boone now has 1,359 for the season, which ranks fifth in the nation. He is also third in the country in yards per carry (7.43) and fifth in rushing TDs (15).
For his efforts, Boone was also named MAC West Offensive Player of the Week for the third time this season.
