GRASONVILLE, Md. – Toledo moved up two spots and shot its best round of the tournament on Sunday to finish in sixth place at this weekend's Prospect Bay Intercollegiate. The Rockets finished with a team score of 965 at the par-72, 6,136-yard Prospect Bay Country Club.
Freshman Yedam Lee paced Toledo today with a four-over par 76 and tied for a team-best 11th place at 236 (80-80-76).
Junior Amelia Lee (T-22nd/82-81-79=242) and sophomore Cheryl Hong (T-27th/84-80-80=244) each registered Top 30 finishes, while sophomores Angel Hii (T-32nd/83-81-82=246) and Macy Hanus (T-36th/86-82-79=247) finished in the Top 40.
Sophomore Kaitlyn Natividad (87-78-82=247) competed as an individual and tied for 36th place.
Dartmouth and Penn tied for the team title at 931, while Lehigh's Madison Pineda, Dartmouth's Katherine Sung and Quinnipiac's Kaylee Sakoda shared medalist honors at 13-over par.
Toledo will play its final regular-season tournament next weekend when it travels to Bloomington, Ind. for the Indiana Invitational on Saturday-Sunday, April 9-10.
