TOLEDO, Ohio - Toledo will look to extend its three-game winning streak this week when it hosts Kent State at Hotmer Field followed by a trip to Athens, Ohio to battle Ohio. The Rockets will entertain the Golden Flashes (5-3-1, 1-0-1 MAC) on Thursday, Sept. 30 at 7:00 p.m. with the contest being streamed on ESPN+. Toledo will then visit the Bobcats (6-3-0, 2-0-0 MAC) on Sunday, Oct. 3 at 1:00 p.m. with streaming on OhioBobcats.com.
The Rockets (7-1-2, 2-0-0 MAC) leads the MAC in victories after winning their first two league contests at NIU (3-0) and vs. WMU (2-0). The Rockets rank third in MAC offense with 1.60 gpg and have allowed just three goals this season. Sophomore goalkeeper

Flying with the Golden Flashes (5-3-1)
Kent State's three defeats have come against Dayton (5-0), at Northwestern (3-2) and No. 15 West Virginia (2-1). The Golden Flashes (6-3-0)Â won at Oakland by a 3-2 margin, a team Toledo defeated, 1-0. KSU opened MAC play with a 1-0 victory over Akron and a 0-0 draw at Buffalo. Senior Cameron Shedenhelm is tied for the team lead with four goals and has a team-best 11 points and 23 shot attempts. Senior Khyla Porter also has netted four goals. Junior goalkeeper Sarah Melén has a 5-3-1 record, 1.44 GAA and .723 SV%.
Tracking the Bobcats (6-3-1)
Ohio posted a pair of one-goal victories in its opening weekend of MAC play vs. Buffalo (2-1) and at Akron (1-0). Sophomore Shae Robertson leads Ohio with three goals and six points. Senior Haley Miller is the Bobcats' only other multi-goal scoring with two goals. Senior Sam Wexell has started every game in goal for Ohio and posted a 6-3-0 mark to go along with a 1.00 GAA and .735 SV%. The Bobcats will visit Bowling Green Thursday prior to hosting Toledo.

Sophomore goalkeeper
Emma Boutorwick has been stellar in goal for the Rockets this season. Boutorwick has six shutouts through the first 10 games and has not allowed more than one goal in a game yet. Boutorwick was named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week each of the first two weeks of the season.
