TOLEDO, Ohio – The University of Toledo women's swimming and diving team hosts Buffalo for its final home meet of the season on Friday. The competition is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
"We look forward to hosting Buffalo for our last home meet of the season," head coach Brie Globig said. "They will push us to be at our absolute best and we're looking forward to some great competition."
Prior to the meet, the Rockets will honor six student-athletes during their Senior Day ceremony: Lisa Eriksson, Izzy Jones, Emma Sampson, Ally Sperring, Gracie Storm, and Lauren Wegener.
Last Time Out
Toledo competed at the EMU Last Chance on Feb. 26-27, winning seven total events across two days of competition.
Toledo's individual winners all dropped significant time off their previous season bests on day one. Freshman Sydney Conrad claimed the top spot in the 100 butterfly, touching the wall at 54.89, over four seconds faster than her previous best time this year. Sophomore Lauren Kilgore won the 200 IM with a time of 2:01.74, over five seconds faster than her previous season-best time. Sophomore Kennedy Lovell claimed the top spot in the 50 freestyle (23.59), another season-best time for the Rockets. Those three teamed up with Lisa Eriksson to win the 200 freestyle relay (1:34.12).
The Rockets won two individual events and a relay on day two. Lovell, Kilgore, Conrad, and Eriksson combined to win the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:24.21. Conrad also won the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:02.02, claiming a sweep of the individual butterfly events for the weekend. Sophomore Jovana Duric won the 1650 freestyle at 16:54.69 as well, a career-best time.

Toledo has one more dual meet left at Miami on Saturday, March 20 before gearing up for the Mid-American Conference Championships on April 15-17.
