Toledo, Appalachian State to Play Home-and-Home Series

           TOLEDO, Ohio - The University of Toledo will play two football games vs. Appalachian State in 2025 and 2028, UToledo Vice President and Athletic Director Mike O'Brien announced today. The Rockets will travel to Boone, N.C. on Sept. 20, 2025 and then host the Mountaineers in the Glass Bowl on Sept. 23, 2028.
           The two schools have met twice on the gridiron, but never in the regular season. The Mountaineers defeated the Rockets at the 2016 Raycom Media Camellia Bowl and again a year later at the 2017 Dollar General Bowl.
