Rockets Place 17 on Academic All-MAC Team

TOLEDO, Ohio — Seventeen Toledo football players earned spots on the 2020 Academic All-MAC team, the conference office announced Friday.
The Rockets' 17 selections are the second-most in program history, trailing only the 19 honorees in 2018. This is the third Academic All-MAC selection for Tycen Anderson and Drew Rosi. Two-time honorees are Nate Bauer, Carter Bradley, Luke Doerger, Bailey Flint, Zachary Ford and Nick Rosi.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for student-athletes who have excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and transfers in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
