Jamal Hines Named West Division Defensive Player of the Week

TOLEDO, Ohio - Junior defensive end Jamal Hines (Cincinnati, Ohio) was named the West Division Defensive Player of the Week by the Mid-American Conference for his performance in Toledo's 45-28 victory over Eastern Michigan on Nov. 18.

Hines was disruptive all night, helping the Rockets' defense shut down the Eagles as Toledo built a 38-7 edge late in the third quarter. He tallied five tackles, 1.5 sacks, and scored Toledo's final touchdown on the night with a 20-yard pick six in the fourth quarter.
